lyrics
Chemicals make their way from my chest to my head
I donʼt just feel good
I feel the best
Now my sarcasm is getting thick
I think Iʼm wearing thin
Just like the only patience I have left
I know that Iʼm a mess
Thatʼs why Iʼm crawling in my skin
It might be a bit too much
But I could use the rest
Metaphysical
All that matters is under my head
(Itʼs metaphysical)
I donʼt just feel good
I feel depressed
Now my sarcasm is getting thick
I think Iʼm wearing thin
Just like the only patience I have left
I know that Iʼm a mess
Thatʼs why Iʼm crawling in my skin
It might be a bit too much
But I could use the rest
If I find that I have half a cup full
Only means that I have half a cup to spill
If I could make death stand still
Iʼd put it off ‘till I get my fill
i like the Rick Beato videos and he had shown the track electric sunrise in his video "How To Count Odd Meters". I was very impressed from this song and searched for the whole album and found it at bandcamp ;-) hpaydt

Big, brawny, hooky songs with 20-ton riffs and choruses as sweet as candy make this one of the month’s strongest rock albums. Bandcamp New & Notable Jun 12, 2020
The UK upstarts' debut veers from sunny, psychedelic folk to bristling post-punk with reckless abandon without ever missing a beat. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 18, 2024
Pity that I could not find the deluxe edition with LoG's Laid to Rest. Nevertheless I wanted to add Elegy to my BC collection. It's unique as it is a delightful mix of symphony and deathcore. The vocals are just the perfect "5th element" that allows both styles to intertwine perfectly. Ben Duerr is the perfect vocalist for this role. The Elegy trilogy at the end is just the apotheose of death-gasm, it's a good trip down to memory lane as I've seen S.O.I. live last year! sachavonkarl74
